Dumbest Super Bowl Interview Ever

Why oh why does TV find it necessary to interview the losing coach of the Super Bowl? Whether you like to see Belichick squirm or not is beside the point.
What possible answer can any sane human being give in front of millions of fans to the question "Can you explain how your feeling?" If I was Bill Belichick I would have put Chris Meyers in the Cobra Clutch until he tapped out and then told him that's how I feel… except worse. I was rooting for the Giants, but really took no pleasure in seeing a man at his worst. However, I am sure that T-Ray thoroughly enjoyed it and is still replaying it with his DVR.

I actually got a great deal of pleasure from watching that interview. I can’t stand Belichick and his smug, arrogant, I’m too cool for the room attitude. It was great to see him humbled. The Pats got out played and out coached, and he should have to answer for that.
Also, did anyone else find the fact that Belichick ran off the field and into the locker room with one second left on the clock as bush league as I did. Is he that important that he can’t wait one second to go to the locker room and get his cry towel? They guy’s got absolutely no class and he showed it on national television last night.

I got a ton of IMs when Belichick ran off the field at the end regarding how unsportsmanlike it was. Right or wrong, it’s totally in character for him. He’s a dick and that’s what dicks do.
Going back to Moose’s point, I generally dislike the interview with the losing coach. I did enjoy it just a bit this year though, simply because it was Belichick doing the squirming. And kudos for working “Cobra Clutch” into the post.

I usually defend all dick moves because …. well cause I’m a dick. He should have waited till the snap was taken, but who the hell was running the clock. You have to let that thing expire in that situation. Belichick was already giving Coughlin his half hearted congrats when they put one scond back on the clock. Should have just let it end.

The clock shouldn’t be run out because they feel like it.If 1 second remained,so be it.Just an added bonus to see the in-your-face reality of having the New England D come off the bench so the Giants ,who just completed the upset of the previously undefeated Patriots to win SB XLII,could do the Victory Formation that the Pats knew so well until the one that meant the most.It was right, fitting, and most of all…JUSTICE!
