Steelers Interested In Aaron Brooks? Blech!

There's a crazy report circulating that the Steelers are interested in, and have already had a visit with, former Raiders and New Orleans QB Aaron Brooks. He looked like a decent pro QB while with the Saints, putting up 20+ TDs in each of his first 4 seasons as the Saints starter. Then 2005 hit and Brooks was exposed as a bit of a candy-arm and started getting hurt regularly. In 2006 with the Raiders, he played awful in 8 starts, lost his job after getting hurt (to Andrew Walter no less) and was jettisoned after the season. He was regularly criticized by teammates like Randy Moss for being soft and not having the arm to get the ball where it needed to be at times.
He wouldn't be the worst 3rd QB in the league, but I'd be shocked if the Steelers paid more than a minimum salary to bring him in. No chance he's replacing the popular and very able Charlie Batch as Big Ben's backup.
