NFL Pick-Axe For Week 10

I was pretty terrible (pronounced ‘turrbill’) last week with my picks at 4-9 (12-14 overall), but I’ll make it up to you this week with a bunch of ice cold locks. Maybe.
49ers (-3.5) vs Bears
This game occurred in the past, but because of my spotless record of integrity, you know I didn’t doctor my pick. If Jay Cutler was really that valuable, there’s no way the Broncos would have given him up. Take it to the bank.
Falcons (-1.5) at Panthers
Atlanta is slumping, but if they put up any significant number of points, they’ll win since Carolina cannot score at all. Matt Ryan comes back in a big way and Atlanta wins by two scores.
Dolphins (-9.5) vs Bucs
Tampa pulled out a win last week, but won’t get so lucky this time. Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams are too much for the young Bucs to handle.
Vikings (-16.5) vs Lions
2+ scores is a tremendous amount of wood in a pro game. We are talking about the Lions though. Vikes roll.
Jets (-6.5) vs Jaguars
The game is in NY and the Jags’ stud RB Maurice Jones-Drew likely won’t play or will be very limited. This will make T-Ray and @garyvee very happy, J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets.
Steelers (-6.5) vs Bengals
The Bengals appear to be for real. However, when is the last time anyone swept the Steelers in a season? I’d also bet the under here…might be 10-3.
Saints (-13.5) at Rams
New Orleans is a consistent double-digit favorite every week now and apparently are America’s darling. If they have to go on the road somewhere outdoors in the playoffs they’re in some trouble…fortunately, they’re only visiting the indoor stylings of St. Lou this week.
Titans (-6.5) vs Bills
The Titans aren’t that good. The Bills are worse than that.
Broncos (-6.5) at Redskins
Clinton Portis is out and even if he wasn’t, the Skins are disintegrating before our very eyes. It couldn’t happen to a nicer guy than Dan Snyder.
Raiders (-1.5) vs Chiefs
A horrible game to be subjected to, so I’m sure it’s on TV in the Pittsburgh market this week. Avert your eyes and take the Raiders on a coin toss.
Cardinals (-8.5) vs Seahawks
I started to write off the Cards and then they tore apart the Bears last week. That’s looking less impressive as I see more of the Bears, but still. The Seahawks blow, take ‘Zona and the points at home.
Cowboys (-2.5) at Packers
I am very conflicted here, as I don’t like to bet against the Pack at home, but they looked pretty bad last week. The Cowboys and their 55-headed RB monster win a close one.
Chargers (-2.5) vs Eagles
Another pick I’m not crazy about here. I can’t figure out how the Eagles aren’t better than they are. Take the home team by a TD.
Colts (-2.5) vs Patriots
I like Indy more now that they’ve shed Tony Dungy and I hate the fucking Patriots. That aging Pats defense gets lit up by Reggie Wayne and his buddies.
Ravens (-10.5) at Browns
I bet ESPN wishes they had the chance to reschedule this one for a Sunday 1pm start. The Browns are awful and have gone back to Brady Quinn at QB, fired their GM, and may wear those icky orange jerseys. Too much Ray Rice and Joe Flacco.
