Well an 8-7 week gets me off to a slightly better than .500 start, so hopefully I can build on that this week. There are a ton of tough games out there this week:

Steelers (-6) at Browns  – The Cowboys made the Browns look terrible last week, and I see no reason the Steelers won’t do the same.

Raiders (+3.5) at Chiefs – The Chiefs put up a good fight last week against the Patriots, and the Raiders got embarrassed at home by the Broncos.  This pick might seem a bit curious, but I really think the Raiders should be ok this year and I am willing to give them a shot this week.

Titans (+1) at Bengals – The Bengals really stink and the Titans will be fine, even without Vince Young.

Vikings (+2) vs Colts – My hatred for the Mannings is no secret to anyone, plus the Colts looked out of wack last week.  If they don’t play better run defense against the Vikings, Adrian Peterson will dice them up.

New Orleans (even) at Redskins – This game should be an interesting match-up between the Saints offense and the Redskin defense. I will give the edge to the Saints, but just barely.

Packers (-3) at Lions – One of these teams is good, the other is the Lions.

Panthers (-3) vs Bears – This game makes me wish I had NFL Ticket; it should be a really good game. I think the Panthers beat a better team last week, and they are home, so I will go with them.

Rams (+8.5) vs. Giants – This is probably the wrong pick, but I hate the Mannings, and I expect a big game from Torry Holt and Steven Jackson

Jaguars (-5.5) vs Bills – Tough loss for the Jags last week. They should rebound nicely against a Bills team that feasted on an undermanned Seahawks team last week.

Falcons (+7.5) vs. Buccaneers – I don’t know that I so much believe in the Falcons as I don’t believe in the Bucs.

49ers (+7.5) at Seahawks – The Seahawks are just decimated with injuries. They may win, but it will be close.

Cardinals (-6.5) vs. Dolphins – The Dolphins are better with Pennington at quarterback, but they are still not very good. The Cards should make it to 2-0.

Patriots (+1.5) at Jets – I don’t care that Tom Brady is hurt, or that Brett Favre is the Jets quarterback, the Jets are not as good as the Pats. I hope I am wrong and I will be rooting for the Jets.

Ravens (+4.5) at Texans – I am a Ravens fan for as long as they stick with Joe Flacco. Plus I am lucky enough to work with a Ravens cheerleader.

Chargers (-1.5) at Broncos – The Broncos played great in Oakland on Monday, but the Chargers are a much better team, that should be pretty pissed about their loss to the Panthers.

Eagles (+7) at Cowboys – This is agreat early season match-up. If the Eagles can steal a victory here it sets them up for a run at the division title.
