As the Final Four draws closer, so does the conclusion of our 2008 Pittsburgh Bloggers March Madness Challenge. And like the Final Four, we’re also down to four possible winners. I’ve taken time out of my busy schedule of drinking Miller High Life, wrestling with my 10lb. shih-tzu (I’m undefeated), and playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl to crunch the numbers and present you with the possible winning scenarios and a little about each of the players in the hunt
Mike Rizzo – Rizzo Sports – Mike has an unwavering devotion to local sports and a weekly TV gig on Kittanning’s FLTV, which I’m insanely jealous of. He’ll win if Kansas wins the title *OR* he can clinch with a Kansas/Memphis final.
Jim Lokay – KDKA – He holds dominion over your puny traffic destinies every morning on KDKA. Again, I’m insanely jealous, but it has a lot to do with him sharing a desk with the super foxy Sonni Abatta and occasionally, the almost as hot, Allison Morris. Jim wins with a UCLA title win.
Lynsie Camuso – ShowClix – She’s one of the founders of ShowClix, a local mobile ticketing start-up. I like her because she didn’t make fun of me when I told her that sometimes I’m late for work because I’m watching reruns of Angel on TNT in the morning. Lynsie takes the top spot with a Tarheels win in the title game.
Locobone – Locobone’s Periphery – He’s a mysterious Steelers-hater, so if you’re looking for a heel to boo in this fight, I’m pretty sure Locobone is your guy. He needs a UNC/Memphis final, followed by a Memphis title game win.

I could get behind Locobone especially if he becomes a Yinz Team member. If Loc needs a happy alternative to Yinz Team check Uncle Crappy’s post: http://unclecrappy.wordpress.com/2008/03/27/the-home-team/

I have even more respect for Lokay now!

If I can’t win, I’m totally backing Locobone. Us Browns fans need to stick together…

If you told me you were watching Charmed it would’ve been a different story :)
Watch your back Lokay – I’m coming for you!

Hmm… Either Lynsie and I have the same Final Four picks left — which is why I can’t possibly pass her on the way to the championship — or you could only pick one native Erieite to root for in this final matchup, so you’ve selected Herr Locobhone. I understand your choice — Lynsie is far more supportive of your Angel habit, and Loc hits with the force of ten men.

You know, in the future I’ll go with my instincts and leave rivalries and alma maters out of it…
At least I’m hovering in the middle with some excellent company.

So Ben Howland let us down…again. Oh, well. And my us, I mean me.
